Former Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim revealed on Thursday that he might reconsider his international retirement if circumstances demand.
Having retired from international cricket in November of the previous year, Imad Wasim stated that a return to the game is possible, but it would depend on certain conditions.
During an interview with a local website, he emphasized that players sometimes need to make decisions when their country calls for it.
Imad asserted that the retirement decision he made was fully intentional, and at that time, it was his own choice. However, he acknowledged the unpredictable nature of cricket and mentioned that when the country requires your services, one has to respond accordingly.
Reflecting on retirement, Imad expressed that he doesn’t view it as a wrong decision, as players often find themselves in situations where they are not mentally prepared.
Imad Wasim conveyed that taking retirement is a personal choice, and there’s nothing amiss in admitting when one is not mentally in the game.
The cricketer concluded by stating that he was content with his decision and continues to be happy with it.
