ISLAMABAD: In a significant development, the Board of Studies at Hamdard University’s Islamabad Campus has approved the curriculum for its 4-year degree programs in Computer Arts and in Media Sciences. The approval came after a thorough review by a panel of esteemed subject experts and internal members.
The meeting, held on May 15, 2024, brought together external experts Dr. Wajid Zulqarnain, Dr. Nazia Rehman, Ms. Afshan Jamal, and Kinza Yasmeen, along with internal members Dr. Ansar Abbas, Dr. Asghar Khan, Ms. Maria Zia, Dr. Naseem Anwar Khattak, Ms. Muqaddas, and Ms. Aminah. After a comprehensive discussion, the curriculum was approved with minor revisions.
The approved curriculum is designed to provide students with a comprehensive and cutting-edge education in Computer Arts and Media Sciences, preparing them for successful careers in their chosen fields. The program’s focus on interdisciplinary learning, practical skills, and industry-relevant knowledge will enable students to make a meaningful impact in the industry.
