Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has removed the name of her ex-husband, Shoaib Malik, from her Dubai residence. She has replaced it with the name of their son, Izhan.

The change marks a new chapter for Mirza as she prepares to move into a newly built villa with Izhan. Reports indicate the villa is nearing completion, with only final touches remaining. Mirza, who has lived in the UAE for an extended period, has emphasized that her son is now her top priority.

The move follows the end of her 14-year marriage to former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik in 2024. The couple’s son, Izhan, was born in 2017.

Mirza’s personal life continues to attract media attention. Rumors have linked her to UAE-based business tycoon Adel Sajan, though she has not confirmed the relationship. Reports suggest Sajan played a role in designing her new home, but these claims remain unverified.

Beyond her personal life, Mirza remains active in the sports world. She runs tennis academies in Dubai and Hyderabad and works as a sports analyst.

Recently, she covered the 2025 Australian Open for Sony Sports Network. Although she retired from professional tennis in 2023, she continues to contribute to the sport.

Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik celebrated his first wedding anniversary with actor Sana Javed.

The couple shared photos and messages on social media, drawing comparisons to Malik’s previous marriage with Mirza. Despite some online criticism, the couple appeared unfazed, publicly expressing their love and appreciation for each other.
